SOME OF OUR SEMINAR LEADERS
Rev. John E. Campbell serves as the Director of Advancement for Acadia Divinity College (ADC) where he gives leadership in the areas of Development, Recruitment, Communications and Alumni affairs. Prior to joining the team at ADC, John served as the Youth Pastor of West End Baptist Church in St. John’s NL. Having graduated from the University of New Brunswick (BCs ’04), Acadia University (MDiv ’07) and the Arrow Leadership Program (’13), he is passionate about helping others to effectively communicate the Gospel, especially where technology and faith collide. John lives in Kentville, NS, and is married to Sara (MDiv ’04) and has two young children.
Todd was born in Miramichi, NB and spent most of his childhood in Saint John, NB. He studied at Atlantic Baptist College (now Crandall University), University of Ottawa (B.SC- KIN), Regent College in Vancouver, and Acadia Divinity College (M.Div) in Wolfville, NS. He recently completed his doctoral degree in theology and leadership (governance). He has pastored for 24 years in 4 NB churches.
Todd is the Lead Pastor of Jacksonville Baptist Church, NB.
His wife Karyn and daughters Amanda and Jenna are the source of his greatest joy next to His relationship with Jesus.
You can look for Todd exploring the roads in and around Jacksonville on his bright yellow road bike. In the winter on his cross country skis which can't keep up with Paul Wellwood's snowmobile! He also Tweets now and then @TweeterTodd
Daryl is Director of Finance & Facilities for the Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada, where he has served for over 30 years. Prior to joining the Convention staff he was employed in the banking industry for 15 years. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton and is a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers. He has also been in the Master of Divinity program at Acadia Divinity College. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Council of Christian Charities and has served on two national pension committees.
Daryl is married to Wilma. They have two grown children and two grandchildren. They attend the Grand Bay Baptist Church in Grand Bay-Westfield.
Stephen joined the JUBC family in 2011 as the Youth Pastor. Having spent a number of years in camping ministry, some would argue that he has never really completely let go of the kid inside - and it is unlikely that Stephen would dispute this comment.
God has blessed Stephen and his wife Becky with four beautiful children Kalia, Lilyana, Laney and Russell, who provide a great deal of joy to their family! They enjoy doing many things together including camping, canoeing, cross country skiing, gardening, rock climbing, and just about any other outdoor activity that you can name.
He studied (if you can call immersing yourself in the Bible, whitewater kayaking, rock climbing, canoeing, camping, snowboarding and general mischief studying) at Summit College in Huntsville, Ontario; and Briercrest College in Caronport, Saskatchewan. He is one of the only people that we know with a degree in Outdoor Adventure (no joke) as well as Biblical Studies.
Stephen is known for his heart for younger generations and fully believes that they are not the church of tomorrow but are in fact a massively important part of the church today! Speak to him for a while and you will find a deep optimism for the church in our time as we passionately follow Jesus' call to make disciples of every nation beginning right here in our local area and continuing into the rest of the world.
