Pastor Stephen Page
Stephen joined the JUBC family in 2011 as the Youth Pastor. Having spent a number of years in camping ministry, some would argue that he has never really completely let go of the kid inside - and it is unlikely that Stephen would dispute this comment.
God has blessed Stephen and his wife Becky with four beautiful children Kalia, Lilyana, Laney and Russell, who provide a great deal of joy to their family! They enjoy doing many things together including camping, canoeing, cross country skiing, gardening, rock climbing, and just about any other outdoor activity that you can name.
He studied (if you can call immersing yourself in the Bible, whitewater kayaking, rock climbing, canoeing, camping, snowboarding and general mischief studying) at Summit College in Huntsville, Ontario; and Briercrest College in Caronport, Saskatchewan. He is one of the only people that we know with a degree in Outdoor Adventure (no joke) as well as Biblical Studies.
Stephen is known for his heart for younger generations and fully believes that they are not the church of tomorrow but are in fact a massively important part of the church today! Speak to him for a while and you will find a deep optimism for the church in our time as we passionately follow Jesus' call to make disciples of every nation beginning right here in our local area and continuing into the rest of the world.
